Investment Strategy

Curzon Land’s real estate centric approach concentrates on both capital preservation and wealth creation. We seek out deep value. Curzon Land’s strategy drives attractive absolute and risk-adjusted returns by:

  • Investing in a diversified portfolio of western European real estate assets
  • Following persuasive macro fundamentals
  • Prudent and accretive use of leverage
  • Focusing on attractive sub-sectors
  • Deploying intensive and on-going asset management
  • Targeting well established markets and strong micro locations
  • Repositioning undermanaged properties

Our current geographic targets include the south east of the UK and will expand to the main centres in Germany, with an important but secondary focus on Paris.

Investment Principles

We know that the occupier is one of the key drivers of a property’s value. In assessing any opportunity we focus on buildings and how people interact with them. Curzon Land aims to promote functional, inspirationally engaging spaces in which people want to work and live.

Seek Compelling Relative and Absolute Value

Curzon Land has an inherent value investor mind-set and above all else seeks compelling value for its clients’ portfolios.

Engender a True Advocacy Model

Curzon Land’s approach gives our investing partners genuine transparency and alignment of interests. Curzon Land takes its independence and seeks to be the client’s advocate on the ground.

Recycle Old into New

Curzon Land believes in the value of taking undermanaged and underutilised properties repositioning them to add value and useful life. Our investment strategy seeks both to enhance value from assets and helps fulfil our shared mission to improve the quality of public space.

Fully Integrate Sustainability Principles

CurzonLand With real estate investment and ownership come many responsibilities, including those to the wider community and the environment. We aim for best practice in sustainability and take a highly principled approach to all aspects of property ownership.
